I exchanged motors in this 2000 honda accord. Once done and motor was started n running it immediatly started cutting out at 3800 rpm vtec code and o2 sensor codes came up. I was told it may have went into limp mode. Any help would be apreciated.

Repair your trouble codes and limp mode should go away.

If you have a V-TEC code, typically the vehicle will not run in limp mode. So leave that code until last.

I want to know if you fixed your honda and what you did. I just bought a 2999 Accord. The engine was replaced getting VTEC 1259 code. The code sets at between 2600 and 2900 with a load and moderate throttle. When code sets the rev limiter bounces at exactly 4000 rpm. Any ideas? Replaced VTEC soleniod ran all diagnostics on oil pressure switch and VTEC solenoid. All pass
Is there any way to disconnect rev limiter or trick system? Car runs out great
