2000 Honda Accord Two Wheel Drive Manual 74000 miles

Do the front brake pads need to renewed when putting on new discs, if they have only recently been changed?

I take it you are putting on new rotors. I personally would look at the pads to see if they are wearing evenly and if the rotor was in rough shape the pads may be wearing unevenly. If they look okay I would probably go ahead and leave them alone.
