2000 Honda Accord After Ascent/Climb smell comes out

The car runs smoothly on level surface. But on climbing not too steep hills the car seems sluggish or seems to lose power. Also, a smell like burnt oil or transmission fluid could be detected after a climb. Thank you!

Is the vehicle using any oil? Is it possibly a little overfilled in either the tranny or engine? No other problems on the flat ground? Has the mileage or fuel economy dropped? Any noticeable leaks on the engine?
