Transmission problem
1999 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

After I first start my car the transmission feels like it shifts into neutral before shifting into the next gear. If you are driving slow there is a very hard jerk when it finally shifts into gear but if you are driving kind of fast you can barely feel a jerk. This only seems to happen for about 10-15 minutes after you start the car but then after that it shifts fairly smoothly. I have been keeping a close eye on the transmission fluid level and its still in good shape. What else might be a problem?

Hi BigBenGuy,

Symptoms indicates a possible fault with the shift solenoids. Get a free scan done at Autozone to see if any trouble codes are stored in the PCM.
