My transmission is leaking (small drips) and I would like to know if there is a way I can refill the transmission fluid or do I need to take it into an auto repair shop.
I can do minor repairs myself but I don't have the skills to drop the transmission.
Thank you

Hi ceurveld,
Refilling the transmissio is via the dipstick. You would need a funnel with a hose.
Where is the leak coming from? If it is from the CV shaft seals, then you need not drop the transmission. Removing the /CV shaft would allow you to replace the seal.

Thank you very much for your quick response. I noticed the leak coming from the CV shaft the other day. I'm so glad that dropping the transmission will not be required. You have been a great help and your advice is much appreciated!
Thank you again
Sincerely
Dave C
