My accord while driving just stalls, its like someone has taken out the key, the green key light comes on for the immobilizer and ihave to wait to restart it. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds and soemtimes it tkaes 5 minutes to restart. While trying to restart the key light does not come on. I have twice changed the ignition switch which is supposed to be bad on these cars.

Hi caniac19,

Looks like you have to change the switch a 3rd time.

Symtoms indicates the ignition switch is likely to be faulty.

Were replacemet parts OEM?

When engine stalled, if the dash indicator lights do not come on, it means the ignition switch ON circuit is bad as power is not getting past the switch.

The security light coming on indicates the power has been interrupted.

When engine is running, check if the ignition switch is hot to the touch, indicating poor contacts internally. A good ignition switch would not emit too much heat.
