I have a Honda Accord 1999, that the speedometer works occasoinally. It will work after it it first started. The needle will drop and the D in the shift thingy will start blinking and my abs light will come on and after a few miles my check engine light will come on. If I shut it off and turn it back on it is ok for a bit. Also when the needle drops it sounds like it drops into a lower gear the makes the D light blink.

Hi mara6438,

The problems are all related and the cause should be the vehicle speed sensor. Replacing it should solve the problem.
