My 99 Honda Accord is completely shuts down while driving on the Hwy. Then after 2/4 sec. It starts again and everything is fine for a week or two. Sometimes when it shuts down the radio air etc also shuts down and sometimes they don't. I have had the cap and spark wires recently replaced but that hasn't solved the problem. A friend suggested that because I run the car with very low gas level that trash in the gas may be causing the problem.

I had this same problem with my 99 honda. It is actually a recall on the igintion switch. So call your local honda dealership and give them your VIN number and they will set up and appointment to fix it for FREE!!!
