Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Gentelmen,

I have a question, and would like an opinion on.

There are cars on the road that have the injectors shut off automatically at crusing speeds in order to save gas.

I was wondering If I manually shut off a couple of injectors (electricaly cutting off the power to the injector using a switch). would that work?

You are still getting firing to the dead cylinders. Your performance would wain as you are effectively just asking the engine to drag the dead cylinders along. Your vehicle is not DESIGNED for this.
