1999 Honda Accord Oil Dripping from Under Right Front

1999 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 178,00 miles

Oil is dripping from under the right front of the car
onto the garage floor.
Mechanic says I need to replace the distributor, the
distributor cap and the rotor.

Does this sound like a plausible reason to have oil
dripping?

If the distributor is leaking oil, it's leaking from the seal, that is a $2 seal and is very easy to change. If he recommends changing the cap, it is because it is because you need a tune-up, not because it's leaking oil.
