1999 Honda Accord Noises

Everytime I turn my steering wheel there is an creaking noise at the front of the vehicle. It is very loud and happens no matter if I turn the wheel left or right. What could this be?

Hi jwitosky,

If the noise also is present when driving in a straight line in undulating conditions, the most likely cause would be a faulty upper/lower arm ball joint or tie rod ends.

If the noise is emitted from the engine, the power steering pump belting could be loose/worn.
