Engine Performance problem
1999 Honda Accord 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 112K miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello

I have been experiencing ocassionally for the past 4 months that my idlle speed is below normal like 350 RPM feels like the car could stall. Normally when waiting in a light or just stopped. Tha A/C could be running or not it doesn't make a difference, or the engine could be hot or cold. It ussually corrects itself, I'am just worried that it will get worse or cause other problems. I'am pretty sure is a sensor starting to fail but which one. Where should I start looking? Thanks for your help!!

Hi Tony,

It should just be the idling circuit problem. Give the throttle body a good cleanup with carb cleaner and all should be well provided there is no engine check light illuminating.
