I have a replaced the motor and all the sensors on the car and had honda reprogram the ecm and a juck yard ecm. I had codes that claimed tps and computer malfuntion. Now with everything changed out and lots of money spent. the problem continues and no check engine light or codes.
What could it be?

Hi anickm3,

Was the problem there before the engine replacement?
Does gradual acceleration cause the engine to stall as well?

I am not sure if this problem was with the old motor because it was blown motor.
No, if you ease the excelerator it will rev-up, but die when it trys to return to idle.

I would suggest checking the fuel pressure as there is no engine trouble codes shown.

Did you check if the timing belt had been isstalled correctly?
Were the valve clearances adjusted?

I have not checked the timing belt or valves because it was a running engine from a wreaked honda. I did check fuel pressure and stays at a contunios 45 psi. The distributer has a little bit of room to ajust so I tryed that with no improvement.
One person told me that the carbon canister has a fuel regulator that could be bad. What do you think?

Charcoal cainister have valves but no fuel regulators.
With 45 psi, the fuel pressure and regulator should be ok.

If you have a timing light, check the ignition timing to see if it is within specs.

If the engine had been left sitting around for prolonged periods, give it a compression test.

Is the idling speed stable?
Does engine stall or idling speed drops when AC is turned on? If yes, give the throttle body and IAC some cleaning with carb cleaner to see if it improves.
