The car idles fast between 1000 and 1500 rpms. blue smoke when first started. .

Hi Kenny1999,

When engine idles higher than 800, there could be a vacumn leakages, shortage of coolant, clogged coolant hoses to the Idle Air Control Valve, stuck IAC or idle speed is out of adjustment.

Blue smoke during initial start up indicates oil is being burnt in the cylinders and the most common fault is worn valve seals.
