1999 Honda Accord gasoline under car leading to gas tank

gasoline line under car near tank developed a small leak. Can this be fix with clamp and cold solder(?) or do i have to take it to a mechanic? Husband can try if this is possible to fix at home. what parts to get.

Hi minnierodz,

There is a type of pipe connectors that you can use to join the line. You need to cut the line to install the connector. However if the lines are bad due to corrosion, then it would be best to replace the complete line as repair would only be temporary.
