1999 Honda Accord gas pedal sticks

My 99 accord the gas pedal sticks only when i take it off of park when i first turn it on but afterwards wont do it as long as i am driving. It seems that the pedal is getting harder to press lately. I just dont know what to look for or what I need to repair. Have tried lubricating it but that didnt work.

Hi yimariesmith,

The item most likely to cause the throttle to stick is the throttle plate. Get it cleaned and retest.
