1999 Honda Accord Car rubs on breaks when driving.

1999 Honda Accord Front Wheel Drive Manual 181000 miles

My problem with my Honda is that when I drive and I am next to a car or a wall, I can hear...what sounds like to me my breaks pads rubbing together. It does not make a squeeking sound. But sounds like the padsw are rubbing together on both sides. I recently changed the breaks on both sides and it still makes the same noise. CAn someone help me.?

you probably have the backing plate dust shield hitting the back side of the rotor. very common. if you remove the rotors, look at the backing plates and see if there is shiny rub marks and reposition.
