During the morning drive, I noticed a hissing (air) noise every time I applied pressure to the brakes. 20 minutes into the drive, I noticed the hissing noise began again without applying pressure to the brakes. Also, a few months ago, I noticed at times when I brake I feel as though the car skips while decelerating. Not sure if the two issues are related.

Hi there, this is sounding like a failing brake booster, this is vacuum operated, have this inspected .
