Vibration when slowly braking

Just had a dealer look over car because of a clunk when starting. No work performed. The next day when driving we experienced a vibration on the brake pedal when slowly braking. If we brake fast and hard, we don't feel this. I have repeated it several times. I took off the front wheels, the pads and rotors look fine and it doesn't look like grease or oil got on the rotors from the recent visit to the dealer. Any thoughts?

Hello,

It sounds like the brake rotors are wrapped. As you press the brake that is the vibration you feel.
Keep in mind that the warpage of the rotor cannot be detected by a simple visual inspection.
You will have to do a lateral runout check using a gauge. Look below for the runout testing procedure.
If the rotors have excessive lateral runout, then they need to be replaced.
On this vehicle the knuckle needs to be removed in order to replace the rotors.
