1998 Honda Accord transmossion problem

When I put the transmission on D it takes a little more time to kick on the gear, it does that also when I come to a full stop. It is better when the car is cold in the morning. The car has 125k and never changed the fluid. It drives good transmission shifting smoothly, no slippery. Only does that when I put it D and when I come to a full stop. Thanks for your help

Hi tksignature,

I would suggest getting the fluids replaced and retest if the problem goes away.

Problem seems to be from the transmission internals and is a sign of the trans about to fail if the fluids do not help.
