3 weeks ago I was driving then parked my car and left it running. When I came back to put the car into drive it died, so I put it into park and tried to start it. It will not start, the brakes are stiff, and it will not go out of park. What do I do?

Check the fuses.
Are the dash indicator lights showing?
Ensure brake lights are working.
