1998 Honda Accord help

my daughters Honda it sometimes wont start and sound as if it is not firing but it turns over. if you let it sit after a short time maybe 3-5 min and then turn it over it starts (most of the time) I have had it in the shop not a dealer but they could not find the problem any suggestions

Hi there,

The first thing you will have to do is check if you have spark when it won't start, If there is a good healthy spark i would be checking for injection pulse, and then fuel pressure, these test may be beyond your capability as some special tooling is required. I would also check for set fault codes as well.
