I recently pulled out the needles on my gauge cluster to clean off the orange paint for a new lighting effect. After putting them back in I then realized the horrible thing I had just done. I have them lined up pretty good but they seem to hesitate when moving. The gas gauge now sinks to the bottom of its range when the car is turned off but it used to stay at the same place. And the temp gauge is very sticky. Is there anyway to repair them without buying a new cluster?

Hi legoman1028,

The gauges are factory calibrated and there is no way you can recalibrate them so a replacement cluster is the solution.
