when the car starts d4 light starts blinking but not all the time at this times the movement will be slugish why ?

An error has occurred in the transmission control system. Get a free scan done at Autozone and let me know the EXACT trouble code.

Do not replace anything until it has been tested and confimed bad to avoid unnecessary component replacement.
