Hi, my 98 accord has an f23a1 engine and is in need of a transmission overhaul or a new one at least. I have a 94 accord with an f22b1 engine and an automatic transmission. Do you guys know if the tranny from the 94 would fit the 98 accord? I'm trying to find a way to cut the cost to get it fixed! Thank you so much for any help you can offer.

Hi there,

I believe your 94 model trans utilises a throttle cable whereas the 94 version is fully electronically controlled so they are not interchangeable.
