1997 Honda Accord won't go into gear

I have a 97 honda accord, when you first star the vehicle in drives fine, but as soon as it heats up it wont go into gear. If I stop and disconnect the battery it will go back into gear but only for a second. Any ideas. Thanks

Hi vernard,

Either the transmission Control Module is bad or the trans has failed.

Does the D4 light blinks while driving? If yes, get a scan done to retrieve the trouble code and let me know what it is.
