1997 Honda Accord What is Wrong when my guages dont work?

1997 Honda Accord 6 cyl Automatic

My guages arent working and powerwindows as well and my gear shifter will not allow me to switch out of park without putting key into release and putting in neutral to start up my car.

Hi Jawunstar08,

You seem to have a problem with either power supply or the ignitioon switch.

Are you able to start in P position?
Are the brake lights working when pedal is depressed?
Did you check the fuses under hood?

For emergency, you can release the gear shift by using the ignition key to insert and pushing into the key slot on the gear shift panel and releasing the gear shift.
