What does "SRS" light mean? Mine came on when I started my car yesterday, then went off after I drove it, turned it off and re-started.

SRS = Supplemental Restraint System a.K.A Airbags. It should come on when you start the car, and turn off as you drive away. If it stays on while driving then you need to have the airbag system checked out.

There is a website that has an instruction on how to turn off the light, but recommends it done only after the problem is fixed, not before. There is a caveat: Do it at your own risk. If you are electronically-impaired, I suggest that you not do this. If you are interested, let me know via email, I'll send you the link.
