When i start the car it operates fine until i come to a stop sign, then when i go to pull out it acts as the trans is in neutral, rpms climb but will not move ! I shift to park shut engine off then restart problem cures itself till the next stop. I tried to retreive trouble codes, either the data link is faulty or there were no codes stored. fluid level seems to be right at the top of the cross hatch on the dip stick and still looks clean , does not smell burnt. any advice would be great! trying to avoid having car towed and getting waxed at a tranns shop if I can avoid it. thanx vzmachine

Hi vzmachine,

Seems the 1st clutch is failing.

Try shifting to 1 or 2 and if the problem still exists, you need to do some pressure test to confirm if it is a pressure fault or solenoid problem.
