I recently replaced the radiator in my 97 Accord. The check engine light has now come on. Like a bonehead, I did not label the lower tubes (not the exhaust hose) and Im afraid I may have crossed them up. However, the car has not been over heating and seems to be running fine.
any advice would be great!

Check engine light could be a coincedent. Have the trouble codes retrieved by using a diagnostic OBD-II scanner. If you don't have one, most auto part stores will use their own scanner to retrieve your trouble codes for you, free of charge. Post the code(s) you retrieve and I will follow up.

Will do. Thanks.
For the time being, eveything should be fine? Would having the lines crossed affect how cold the A/C should or shouldnt blow? I've noticed its not as cool as it used to be.

If you mixed the radiator hoses up, you would know it. Yeah driving will be fine, probably just a sensor or something starting to fail that is throwing the engine code.

Its not the hoses. I got the intake and exhause hoses. Its the smaller lines at the bottom of the radiator just left of the lower hose.

So you think you mixed up the tranny fluid cooler lines (ATF cooler hose) ?

Nope. I havent noticed anything odd outside of the engine light and the A/C not blowing as cool. But then we're in the middle of a heat wave here so it might just feel that way.

Sounds like you got it correct then. And those hoses have nothing to do with the A/C, they only cool the tranny fluid.
