1997 Honda Accord leaks

I took my car to a honda repair shop and they told me I have a leak form the right axle and the disturbor the cost to fix it is around 1,000.00 can I find it done a little cheaper?

Definately.

You can purchase an aftermarket distributor for about $200, install is only about an hour and that should include setting ignition timing.

An axle seal or boot replacement is only about $150 as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if you got both jobs done elsewhere for around $500.
