I have change my steering pump about 3 times in the last 6 months due to failure. The pump becomes hard and difficult to steered the wheel.
Also, I have frequent ignition off of the engine while driving. I have change the fuel pump, fuel filter and clean the fuel tank yet the engine goes off whenever I apply brakes occasionally and the firing is poor. Please assist

Hi otobongi,

When the P/S pump was replaced, did it solve the problem then?
Did you check if it is a fault of the pump?
What is the condition of the P/S fluids? Clean or dark?
Did you clean the reservoir?
Were the replacement pumps new, used or rebuilt?

Does the engine stall only at a stop? If yes, then it is a fault of the idling system, the fuel system has nothing to do with it.

What it the idling speed at operating temperature?
Does the idling speed drop when the A//C is turned on?

You mentioned the engine is running badly, were the spark plugs and related parts checked?
