1997 Honda Accord Error codes: p1498, P1300, P0302 and 04

Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 300xxx miles

Vehicle running slow and slight misfire. Error code for EGR (P1498) said Voltage in EGR valve position. I assume that the remaining exisiting problem of misfireing of number 2 and 4 cyclinder if from this egr error code. Nothing on the net explains how to fix this problem. I am at a loss of changing this part will bix the problem or do I have another problem such as catylic coverter problem.

clear the code and if it comes right back, replace the egr valve. only other possibility is a problem in the wiring between the ecm and egr.
