Is there a risk to driving my accord with a fused AC unit

Only if the belt runs other accessiories.If you can remove the belt and the alternator and power steering still have a belt, you are ok. The water pump shoul dbe driven by the timing belt on that car.As long as the a/c belt stands alone you are fine
