MY HONDA STARTS TO OVER HEAT WHEN I TURN ON MY AIRCONDITIONER. THEIR IS PLENTY OF COOLANT IN THE CAR. BUT I CAN NOT USE THE AIRCONDITIONER WHEN TRAVELING FAR DISTANCES. I BOUGHT A NEW RADIATOR CAP A FEW MONTHS AGO, AND WHEN I WENT TO THE AUTO PARTS STRORE TO BUY ONE. THEY HANDED ME ONE, AND I TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO GO AND SEE IF IT FITS, BECAUSE IT LOOKED ALOT BIGGER. I RETURNED TO THE SALES CLERK, AND TOLD HIM THE RADIATOR CAP HE SOLD ME IS TO BIG, AND HE RESPONDED TO ME THAT THE RADIATOR WAS CHANGED. COULD IT BE THAT THE RADIATOR THEY REPLACED THE OLD ONE WITH IS SMALLER THAT THE ORIGINAL?

Hi ACRUZ563,

The original radiator cap should be small and not big.

Are both cooling fans working when the A/C is turned ON?

Does the overheating occurs only at high speed travelling?
