Electrical problem
1997 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I went to AutoZone for a check engine light on. They put the analyzer on it and read code P0725. The definition for code said:
aaTcc does not engaged.
Probable cause:
aa1. - Check ignition system for faults.
Autozone told me it probably was Speed Sensor as the tach was going all over the place and sometiems just indicating 0 rpm. Researching this on web it seems that people that have P0725 have the Speedometer going wacky. Wondering if this is the sameor could something else be causing this?

Hi AngeloA278, Welcome tor 2carpros and TY for the donation

Inspect and test the vehicle speed sensor-

DTC P0725: Accord V6

On 1995-97 Accord V6s, when you troubleshoot a fluctuating tachometer OR A/T DTC P0725 (lock-up clutch does not engage), keep in mind the cause could be a faulty resistor in the ignition coil. The transmission control module (TCM) provides electrical pulses through this resistor to drive the tachometer. Although a faulty resistor doesn?T affect the coil's ignition functions, you'll still need to replace the ignition coil to fix a fluctuating tachometer OR A/T DTC P0725 the coil resistor isn't available separately. Order P/N 30520-P0G-A02, for the ignition coil.
