A 97 Honda Accord had a click sound when the drive wheels are turned. The repair shop has replaced both worn CV joints. But, I still hear the click sound when turn the wheels all the way to either left or right. Before the replacement of the worn CV joints, the click sound could be heard as soon as I turned the vehicle but did not have to turn the wheels all the way to left or right. It seems the repair shop did not do the repair well and may need to make an adjustment. Do you know what the problems look like that can cause the click sound only when the drive wheels are turned all the way to left or right? Please note the worn CV joints have just been replaced. Thank you for your answer.

Hi there,

This is just so hard with out hearing the noise, but I would be experting it to be in one of the following places,
Steering shaft to rack attach point.
Loose mounting of rack,
tie rod ends,
lower ball joint, top strut bearing plate,
internal rack problem.

These will have to be investigated, on a hoist it should not take long to track it down.
