1997 Honda Accord Check engine light - code 753

Check engine light is on and a friend put his diagonostic tool on and came with code 753. Something to do with shifting. Common problem ? Can you identify how soon should we fix it.

it's the shift control solenoid A. it's not common but not unusual either.most of the time the problem is a faulty solenoid, but without daignosing the car i can't tell you this for sure.
i wouldn't classify the problem as an emergency but it's not something you should ignore either.
