1997 Honda Accord Check Engine Light

My Accords check engine light came on a week ago and would like to know what may have caused it so I can address the issue.

Is this typical?
Do you know of any Honda warranties that make still cover this type of repair or diognosis?

If check engine light is on it simply indicates that the vehicle's computer has a stored trouble code. This can be caused by a multitude of things from simple to complex. You need to take car to a local auto part store and ask them to retrieve your trouble codes from the engine light. Post codes here and I will follow up.
