1997 Honda Accord Air conditioner stayin on after car is of

Hello,

I have a 97 Accord that the air conditioner stays on even when the car is turned off and the keys are out of ignition. It seems to stay on 24/7..Everytime I come back to the car it has been on still. Does anyone one know what could be causing this?

Hi abcheek3,

There is a possibility you have a bad ignition switch which is not cutting off the circuit. The AC should not work when ignition is turned OFF.
