1997 Honda Accord ac works then stops

my ac works fine for about 4-5 hours of travel. then it doesn't cool well at all. i've had a new sensor put on the fans and a new thermostat installs. the mechanic said the fans come on at the right temp....in his shop...but something's wrong. any ideas. thanks.

Could be freezing due to air and moisture forming ice and blocking off the orifice tube-that's needs vacuumed out-
