1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual unknow miles

I have a 97 honda accord and when I turn on the headlights the dash lights go out. If the parking lights are turned on the lights work fine, but if the headlights are turned on the dash lights go out. I've tried everything... i need serious help and need it ASAP... Thank you for your time...
