Shakes or Wobbles problem
1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my 1997 honda accord shakes mainly on uphill acceleration. i just changed the fuel filter and now the engine starts to heat up and the shaking is still there.

Hi buttox,

Vibrations on load are usually caused by misfiring and possible causes are :
1. Spark plugs and/or wires
2. Distributor cap, rotor and ignition coil.

If it is not due to misfiring, then the CV inner joints might be bad causing imbalance.
