check engine light was on, so took to shop for diagnostics. Technician said that the rear O2 sensor needed to be replaced. But, after replacing the O2 sensor, the check engine light is still on. Does it have to be reset to clear the code, and if so, how? Is it as simple as disconnecting the battery cables?
Thank you in advance

sometimes a simple disconection of the battery cables, will do it but to be sure, just go to autozone or your local parts place and they will clear the codes for free.
