1996 Honda Accord Not sure if transmission is bad

Transmission problem
1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 160000 miles

when driving, the cars RPM's reaches high numbers and the speed decreases to 20mph. what could this be? I had the oil changed just days before this problem occured.

Possibly the transmission fluid level is low. If transmission fluid was also replaced during the oil change, possibly insufficient fluid was refilled or there is a leakages somewhere.
