my abs light on the dash stays on,i start my car and the light is NOT on for about ten seconds and then it turns on and stays on what could this be? thanks.

A fault has been detected in the ABS system (often a faulty wheel speed sensor) you will need to get a scan done to identify the exact problem, start here.
