Tires and Wheels problem
1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 131k miles
Background info-
Ok, so basically, i had two flat tires (both front tires) in one day, and i put a temporary seal in one tire and it fixed it and put a spare on the right side but after that my car keeps leaning towards the right side...
A few weeks later i change the spare and get 2 new tires ( i know..i shouldnt be riding on a spare like that for weeks -_- ) for the front. I put one new tire on the passenger side and for the drivers side i put the new tire in the back and switched the old one in the front.
A few days later i hear a clack clack clack noise coming from my drivers side front wheel...but this noise was only heard when i was cruising...as in when i accelerated or pressed the brake it didnt make that noise....
...an hour later of driving and the noise gets intense and all of the sudden my left side of the car drops and i pull over to find that the whole round thing ( dont know what its called) that holds the tire in place was on the surface of the rim and all the bolts were gone from the studs...and there was metal shavings everywhere.
I got it towed and we just put in new studs and new bolts in and made sure nothing was loose and it drove fine for an hour but i started hearing the noise again...lightly though and i got to my destination and checked the bolts and they were becoming loose and light smoke was coming from the tire area....i tightened it up and lets see what happens...
