1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic

hi my name is dan, i just got done fixing the CV joints on the car! i drove it for a day and a half and there was no problem, but today my wife was driving to work and it stopped driving! now when you turn the car on hereis no noise, but when you put it back into park it grinds! what is the problem?

Hi Dan,

Do you mean it is grinding in Park or when engaged to Drive?

When vehicles is in Park, release the handbrake and check if the vehicle can be moved. If yes, the CV shaft inner joints could have been dislodged due to improper installation.
