Typically the engine will stall after 10 mins of driving or the engine running. The engine just stops, no sputtering, the tach needle drops to zero, and previously the ignition/batter lights would not light up when this happened. It will not restart right away. Usually requires 5 to 10 mins wait time before it will restart. Otherwise it won't start up. I had the ignition switch replaced this week after detailing the problem to the technician. Because the ignition/batt lights didn't come one when it stalled previously. But discovered the same problem remains and today it would stall/shut down even more frequently. I limped it back home but it's not good for any trips over 10 mins.

Is check engine light on? Have the codes read even if it's not, there may be freeze frame data store to point you in the right direction. Also you might want to check the crank sensor...

Unfortunately the reply I got from the technician at the repair shop was there is little they can diagnose without a check engine light being activated. I am speculating that the condition of most electrical/electronic parts cannot be checked without first replacing it with a new one, (charging for parts and labor) and see if that fixes it, repeat as needed.

There are no aftermarket electrical accessories installed on the vehicle.

Kind of true, but first parts to try would be crank sensor and cam sensor. When there is no spark thy can test for missing crank signal. If it's bad there is NO spark.

After the tech diagnosed the matter, part by part, it was determined the igniter was bad. The problem has not repeated so far. Thanks for the help.
