What causes a/c to smell like turpentine through the vents? It is strong when hot outside and stops when car a/c is off. What areas should I look in and how is best to check thanks

This is mould and mildew building up in the vents and air box, check that the drain tune is not part blocked and get a A/C vent deodoriser and sanitiser from your auto parts store to clean the system out.
